The Government has today decided that Norway will join the EU’s External Borders Fund. The purpose of the fund is to ensure uniform and adequate control of the external borders of the Schengen area and efficient management of migration flows.

Norwegian film Winterland

The Norwegian film Winterland will be shown as part of the NUS Arts Festival 2010. Directed by Hisham Zaman, the film tells the story about a man from Iraq, living in Northern Norway. He has a job, a house and good friends - but he sorely misses his wife. Against all odds he finds love in a cold and desolate winterland.
