Opera opens Singapore office

Norwegian browser software company Opera recently opened its new regional headquarter in Singapore. Home to operating and advertising businesses, the location will serve as a hub for marketing activities across its already existing presence in Asia.

In conjunction with Seed Forum and the visit by the Norwegian School of Entrepreneurship’s 2013 programme, the Norwegian Embassy invited investors and start-ups alike to promote the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Singapore.

Singaporean EMAS enters several projects throughout the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Winning contracts totaling several hundred millions of dollars, EMAS will be collaborating with both Statoil and Det norske oljeselskap ASA. Major projects like Aasta Hansteen, Ivar Aasen and Smørbukk South Extension make up the contract portfolio.
