Norwegian positions towards Copenhagen

Last updated: 29/07/2009 // 2009 may be termed the “year of the climate”. What is the Norwegian approach to climate change and to mitigating the effects of emissions?

Due to the climate changes caused by CO2 emissions there is an urgent need for the nations of the world to find solutions to our common challenge. In December, the world leaders will meet in Copenhagen for the United Nations Climate Conference. Preparing for this event, Norway is taking an active approach in the negotiations, aiming for an agreement with ambitious goals.
