Norway and Singapore have an active exchange of students. Many of the courses are in the maritime and offshore field of study.  BI Norwegian School of Management, Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration, The Norwegian University of Science and Technology and the Norwegian Entrepreneurship program - Gründerskolen are cooperating with the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University. BI Norwegian School of Management is continuously developing new courses to accommodate the needs of Singaporean students, including their Executive MBA programme, which includes a study trip to Oslo.

Simultaneously there are at all times approximately 100 Norwegian students in Singapore, either as short term exchange students or for longer periods. The embassy registers the arrival of around 250-300 Norwegian students annually.

The outcome of the many exchange programmes is enhanced knowledge about each others countries and cultures, and the development and strengthening of valuable networks, which certainly is a positive investment in the future.
