Visas and Residence Permits

Citizens of Singapore are able to enter and remain in Norway and the Schengen area for up to 90 days without a visa. However, it is a requirement for entry that the passport of the person travelling is valid for at least three months after the intended date of departure from the Schengen area. Please be advised that visa and residence permit applications to Norway are handled by the Joint Visa Application Centre only, see below.

Nationals of certain countries need a visa in order to visit Norway for up to 90 days. All foreign nationals who are to stay in Norway for more than 90 days must have a residence permit. Foreign nationals who are to work in Norway will in many cases need to have a residence permit, even for stays of less than 90 days. Read more
